A four-year contract with the NSW Telco Authority to provide project and delivery services to the $1.4 billion Critical Communications Enhancement Program (CCEP).
The CCEP is a major infrastructure program that is expanding the coverage of the government radio network from 35 per cent to over 80 per cent of NSW. The enhanced network will also deliver improved interoperability for NSW public safety agencies during responses to critical incidents.
The CCEP is aligned to the NSW Government’s 10-year Operational communications Strategy, which sets out how the state will lead in commissioning communication and information services that ensure safety, efficiency and value are delivered to the community through partnerships with private industry.
The program entails management of the construction of the Government Radio Network This is a complex network deployment program requiring extensive local and state level government stakeholder management, Site acquisition and land access approval and the oversight of construction partners undertaking the works in 3 regionally segmented areas of the state.
Rapid mobilisation of a highly skilled and culturally aligned PMO team and capability
Improved relationship and program engagement with public safety agencies
Development of “One Team” Program Charter
Successfully completed a 3-month transition replacing incumbent PMO to a new operating model
Enhanced operating model and data driven governance regime
Implemented advanced fact based, program reporting and analytics
New site and OHS and quality audit processes
