The Tasmanian Government engaged Telstra for the design, construction and operation of the Tasmanian Government Radio Network (TasGRN). The TasGRN is a digital, whole-of-government Land Mobile Radio network designed to meet public safety standards for emergency service communications worldwide.
TasGRN provides essential features for mission-critical voice communication across various environments and emergency scenarios, including encryption, enhanced audio quality, location-based services, emergency/duress capability, and status messaging, all offered as a managed service.
Telstra had partnered with Motorola Solutions as the key technology provider along with a variety of other suppliers. Amalgamotion was requested to support Telstra with an audit to confirm their program management and governance activities.
Amalgamotion worked closely with Telstra, the TasGRN team and other stakeholders to enable a fresh new approach with the customer. The outcomes of the audit were shared and implemented on an evolutionary approach resulting in the program improving its engagement across customer, client and partners.
