Sector

Services

Optus is one of Australia’s leading Telecommunication companies and provides a wider range of services to over 10 million customers. To enhance the support of their mobile network, Optus were transforming their network operations environment through an initiative that combined both on-shore and off-shore resources to optimise service delivery.

The scope of the transition included the Network Operations Centre (NOC), Field Services, and Operations Support Systems (OSS) services. Nokia had been selected as the key provider.

Amalgamotion were engaged to manage the operational readiness program, working closely with Optus, Nokia and other stakeholders in both the existing and new model to ensure a smooth transition.

To drive innovation and collaboration, we introduced Joint Executive Innovation Tanks, fostering a space for strategic thought and problem-solving at the highest levels. Through our focus on team alignment and transformation, we achieved a 10% increase in employee engagement, introduced joint organisational design, and implemented a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) integration.

Our communications planning and transformation workshops further enhanced cohesion, supporting a streamlined, efficient partnership approach.
